What do you need to arrange in order to be able to work and who do you need to contact for this?
You don’t have a place to stay? Report to the Glanerbrook, Kummenaedestraat 45, 6165 Geleen.
If you already have a place to stay, you can register with the municipality where you are staying. (Step 2)
- Do you have a Ukrainian passport or ID? Then you can register at the municipality where you are staying (BRP).
- You don’t have any identity papers? Please contact the Ukrainian embassy in The Hague..
- Are you a refugee recognized by Ukraine or do you have a valid Ukrainian residence permit? Then you can register at the municipality where you are staying (BRP).
- Do you not have a valid Ukrainian residence permit or papers? Please contact the Ukrainian embassy in The Hague..

In order to work in the Netherlands you need a Citizen Service Number (BSN). When you register at the municipality where you are staying (step 2), you will receive a BSN.
Everyone who wants to work in the Netherlands is obligated to have health insurance. This also applies to refugees from Ukraine. More information can be found on the following websites:
